In this post I will be testing swatches of Honeybee Gardens blushes. I have actually tested everything on my face as I would use in the make up, but here I will show the swatches only on my arm for convenience. Please also refer to the description for details.

Shades:

• Breathless - pale warm pink, more suitable for cool skin tone, matt
• Rendezvous - soft neutral warm rose, with a bit sheen
• Tryst - deep red rose, matt
• Euphoria - peachy pink, with sheen, works with warm toned lipsticks
• Tea Rose - medium spiced cider, brownish red, matt

User Experience:

Honeybee Gardens blushes are all pretty pigmented.

For a light and natural makeup, I think Breathless is the easiest to use, but due to the very pink tone, it works better with light, pale skin with cool tone. As you can see here, when I compared this shade with Pacifica Blush Camellia, it lacks the warm coral tone that Camellia has, which flatters warm toned skin better.

The other shades will show up more on your skin. For a lighter effect, you can try swipe your brushes several times on a tissue before you apply on your face. I usually pair Rendezvous with a bit pink/mauve lipsticks, and Tryst with neutral red lipsticks. I found Tea Rose works great if you want to look a little tanned but without using bronzer, that is if you have light to medium skin.
